Is your partner really amazing? Maybe, maybe not. But what if you could show off your partner's awesomeness with an action shot... or even produce one yourself? MiFlash Tool is a program that lets you do just that—as long as the phone you're using has the right firmware. Moreover, MiFlash Tool is easy to use and intuitive enough for anyone to handle without having any trouble figuring out how it works. How to Flash (or Un-Flash) Xiaomi Tgz Images Firmware Using MiFlash Tool Before you begin, you need to know the following. The phone has the firmware with which this tutorial was written. If not, make sure it has the latest firmware (that is, the firmware with which this tutorial was written). (If your phone is an older version with a different name or no filename extension for the firmware file, then you may choose to flash any other firmwares with MiFlash Tool instead.) Your partner is wearing headphones. It doesn't matter if she's listening or not.) You need at least 30' of cable between your computer and your phone. The video on the tutorial page shows the process using a USB cable. If you are using an HDMI cable, make sure it is at least 30' long. MiFlash Tool comes with its own instructions. Please read it carefully before you start. Once you're ready to begin, turn off the lights in your house or else they might blind your eyes later on! You will need to use your phone as a torch later on anyway. The red light can be annoying too, but it's really not that bright... Set your phone to show the USB drive. In this tutorial, I am using a 1GB Sandisk CF card. If you are using a different type of USB drive or card, make sure it is formatted to FAT32. In other words, you need to mark the partition as FAT32 in the NTFS (New Technology file system) format. If there is already an existing partition on your USB device, format it with RAW (which means no file system at all). You may need to go into Setup > Storage > Filesystem Settings to do so. Now you need to insert your USB drive into your computer and wait for it to be seen there (at least 10 seconds). This is why you need to use a long USB cable. If you don't have a long cable, your computer may not see the drive at all. Once your USB drive is recognized by your computer, close its window and open the MiFlash Tool folder on the desktop. Click on the tool's executable file (the .exe file) after double-clicking it. If you are using Windows 7, 8 or 10, double-click on the .exe file after installing MiFlash Tool. If you are using Windows XP or Vista, right-click on its .exe file and select Run As Administrator from there. Note that there are two files that say "Flash Firmware". 39cfa1e778201
